The work refers to a certain type of rituals in Catholicism and Islam, particularly understood in the culture of Poland and Turkey. The rite of circumcision of boys in Turkish culture is often compared to the first holy communion in Poland. This is probably due to the age of the rite in which it is performed, as well as the solemn nature of the ceremony. To emphasize the importance of the event in both cultures, children are given gifts by their relatives. On the other hand, the rituals of marriage and wedding ceremonies evolve in both cultures and can amaze with a set of modern practices and choreographies, sometimes causing grotesque situations.
