Perhaps humanity is in a situation for the first time when all signs of eternity as the idea of the immutability of the universe are slowly ceasing to exist. We are devastated by the natural environment, using the necessary resources on an unprecedented scale. We are cutting down entire gigantic swaths of landscape that have existed for millions of years. The work End of Eternity is a kind of reflection on the current state of affairs. The three-channel video in a slightly hypnotic slow motion plays shots of the Amazon jungle. The video material for the work based on the altar composition was recorded in the Ecuadorian rainforest.
